Frequently Asked Questions

How much will chiropractic care cost?

The cost of chiropractic care depends on individual health needs and goals, making it difficult to determine exact pricing until we gather this information. After a thorough examination, we provide tailored recommendations to meet these needs and goals. Detailed financial information and care plans are shared during the second appointment.

Do you accept my insurance?

While we encourage you to utilize your insurance, we currently do not process it in our office. Instead, we offer an in-office discount program to keep our prices affordable. We are committed to working with you, regardless of your financial situation.

Is chiropractic care safe for my family and I?

Yes, chiropractic care is safe for both you and your family! Our practitioners are trained to deliver adjustments that are gentle, tailored, and effective for patients of all ages. Chiropractic care is non-surgical, non-invasive, and drug-free, and is one of the safest among all healthcare practices. As a safe, holistic approach to healthcare, our profession has the lowest malpractice insurance rates among all the healthcare professions. We focus on the entire body and aim to restore the connection between the brain and body, enabling your body to heal and function at its best.

Can pregnant women and children get adjusted?

Yes! Newborns, children, and pregnant women can safely receive chiropractic care. Chiropractors undergo special training to confidently adjust these populations. Our care is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring gentle and effective treatments.

When will I get my first adjustment?

To provide the best quality care, our doctors must thoroughly understand your current health status. Your journey begins with a comprehensive exam, consultation, neurological assessments, and any necessary X-rays. During your second appointment, we will review your findings and financials. Once you start care, you will receive your first specific, scientific, and neurologically based chiropractic adjustment at Wholesome Chiropractic.

How many visits will I need?

The number of visits you'll need depends on your individual health goals and needs, which can vary significantly. Following a thorough consultation and examination, our doctors will determine the appropriate number of visits for you. We will present our findings and provide our best recommendations during your second appointment.

How long will my visits be?

Visit durations in our office can vary. We strive to respect your time while ensuring quality service. The initial appointment typically lasts around 60 minutes, with the option to complete intake forms in advance to save time. The second appointment will be about 30 minutes. If booking appointments for multiple people, it may take longer. After the first two appointments, typical appointments last between 10 and 15 minutes.

Will I need x-ray's?

Our doctors will determine if X-rays are necessary after completing your initial consultation, exam, and neurological assessments. In our office, care never involves guesswork, so understanding what’s happening inside your body is as important as addressing your symptoms.

If I already have x-rays or an MRI, should I bring them in?

Absolutely! Please bring any previous X-rays or MRI results to your appointment. Having this information will provide our doctors with valuable insights into your health history and assist in creating a comprehensive care plan. The doctor may suggest additional imaging if needed.
