What to Expect
Visiting a new office can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we're dedicated to making your experience as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. At Wholesome Chiropractic, we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. First Appointment
Arrival & Paperwork
Upon arrival at the office, you will be warmly greeted and provided with necessary paperwork if you haven't completed it in advance. We text the paperwork to you beforehand for convenience. If you prefer to fill it out in person, please arrive 15-20 minutes before your appointment.
Cancellation Policy: Please inform us of any cancellations or changes to your first or second appointment at least 24 hours (one business day) in advance to avoid being charged for your appointment. All subsequent appointments are incredibly flexible.
Consultation
After completing your paperwork, you will have a one-on-one healthcare consultation with a team member. We'll discuss your current issues, past health concerns, health goals, and other personal history to tailor our care to your needs and provide the best care for you. During the consultation, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our office, your health, and how neurologically-based chiropractic care can facilitate healing throughout your body.
Assessments
We utilize state-of-the-art technology to assess your spine, pinpointing the location and severity of stress and nerve interference. Our goal is to understand your body comprehensively, identifying the root cause of any dysfunction to provide you with the high-quality, customized care you need and deserve. This approach allows us to be precise in our care and tailor a personalized plan for you.
Chiropractic Postural X-rays
While not always necessary, your initial visit may include digital x-rays, which are conveniently taken in our office and are safe, professional, and cost-effective. X-rays provide an accurate assessment of your spine, enabling precise care.
Our doctors will analyze your x-rays, health history, and exam findings to craft a specific care plan tailored to your health goals. This plan and the x-ray findings will be thoroughly discussed at your next appointment.
Please note that the cost of your consultation does not include an adjustment, and you will not receive an adjustment during your first appointment. We prioritize accuracy and need time for our doctors to thoroughly analyze your case before proceeding with care.
Second Appointment
Doctor's Report
During your second appointment, known as the Doctor's Report, we will provide detailed information about chiropractic care, our techniques, and expectations from care. We will review findings from your assessments and x-rays, and discuss individualized care recommendations designed to help you meet your health needs and goals.
Please Note:
At Wholesome Chiropractic, we only adjust individuals who are committed to a care plan, as a single adjustment does not correct underlying structural issues. If you are looking for a 'quick fix' or single adjustment, please call for a referral.
First Adjustment
After your Doctor’s Report and once you've committed to care, you will receive your first specific chiropractic adjustment from one of our highly skilled doctors. At Wholesome Chiropractic, our adjustments are gentle, precise, and beneficial for newborns, older adults, and everyone in between.
Following the recommended care plan is essential, as adherence is key to achieving optimal results.
